Entertainment media

First of all What is Entertainment?

Entertainment is a form of activity that holds the attention and interest of an audience, or gives pleasure and delight. It can be an idea or a task, but is more likely to be one of the activities or events that have developed over thousands of years specifically for the purpose of keeping an audience's attention.

What are The Media types that gives us entertainment?

TV
TV Shows is presented through many forms of media. Television is the key example of media that is used by fans other than going to watch it live.

Television to Entertain:
Watching Shows through television is the most entertaining form of media because you can watch it live as it happens and you can replay or rewind anything if you miss it.

Radio
Radio to Entertain:
Music is entertaining through radio because the commentators/DJ's hype up the music or radiodrama which makes it more intense and enjoyable to listen to.

Print
Print media to Entertain:
Magazines and news articles will also give you great information on all of the things which is entertaining to read if you are a fan of a certain topic or article.



Internet

Internet to Entertain: 
The internet can be entertaining as it has many websites,games,articles and etc on internet that you could get some enjoyment out of.

You live in a day of marvelous technologies that give you easy access to a wide variety of media, including the Internet, mobile devices, video games, television, movies, music, books, and magazines. The information and entertainment provided through these media can increase your ability to learn, communicate, and become a force for good in the world. However, some information and entertainment can lead you away from righteous living. Choose wisely when using media because whatever you read, listen to, or look at has an effect on you. Select only media that uplifts you.

Effects:

Social media is more than a digital water cooler for TV and movies. The global conversation that takes place around events and the experiences people share based on what they watch teaches us about consumer preferences. More importantly, their activity influences behavior. Behavior counts for everything. Studying it is just the beginning of course. In order to understand and eventually steer behavior, we must translate activity into insights and in turn, translate insights into actionable strategies and programs.
